Ilona A. Stachowiak
Independant Jewellery Valuer
With a strong academic and professional foundation, Ilona brings both expertise and passion to her work as a jewellery valuer. Since 2015, she has worked within the jewellery trade, gaining experience with both modern and antique pieces of jewellery and silver. With a deep understanding of jewellery from its base components, she offers hands-on, insightful knowledge that enhances every appraisal.
Ilona is also a Consultant for Jewellery Advisory Services Ltd., Members of the Academy of Experts, and one of a select group of Expert Jewellery Advisors undertaking work for HM Revenue & Customs and other Government Enforcement Agencies.
As a Member of the Institute of Registered Valuers, Ilona holds comprehensive qualifications such as a Diamond Member of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (DGA), she is a CPAA certified Pearl expert and an Applied Jewellery Professional with the GIA. In addition, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Gemmology and Jewellery. This blend of advanced study and practical experience ensures each diamond, gemstone, pearl, or fine jewellery item is assessed with accuracy and care.
As an independent Registered Valuer, Ilona remains completely impartial, with no ties to retailers or buyers. Clients can feel confident knowing that every valuation is objective, reliable, and carried out with their best interests at heart.
