Yes! Our leading valuer is a diamond grading specialist, having won a Gwyn Green Award in 2020, Ilona is a Diamond Member of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
Do you offer home visits?
It is not always convenient to leave your jewellery at a jeweller’s shop for valuation. That is why we offer home visits to our customers. Based in Warwickshire, we also cover parts of Oxfordshire and Worcestershire. Get in touch to find out if we can offer you a home visit.

What will my Valuation document consist of?
Valuations are legal documents, it is therefore required the information is not a quick hand-written headed paper note. At IAS we offer thorough valuation documents that if need be, can stand in court, ensuring your items are precisely detailed.
The completed valuation document contains the following:
- Accompanying letter, detailing values and conditions
- Letter of transmittal: this includes your details, our business details, reason and purpose for valuing the items. The letter briefly explains market and conditions in which the valuation took place
- Valuation schedule: the main valuation document including the following:
- Full description of each item
- Details of any Gemstones and Diamonds within the jewellery; including measurments, colours, clarities and calculated carat weight
- Assessment of metal type, detailing any hallmarks if applicable
- Statement of condition
- Digital images of the pieces
- Value and signature of the valuer
